I have been an insulator hunter and collecter since the 1970's. I have collected bottles also when encountered at shows, flea markets, etc. I have dug many sites looking for artifacts and insulators. More recently in last ten years or so, have dug cisterns and privys. I metal detect when conditions are favorable. Old homesites intrigue me and I often research local literature, photos and Sanborn maps to find promising locations to search and dig. I belong to bottle and insulator clubs in my vicinity. Always welcome a searching or digging buddy, as I am retired and have more time in recent years to pursue the hobby.

I can go all the time. I am retired. Sold a business a couple years back.
What are your favorite things to find?
Right now I am into arrowheads but like to treasure hunt almost all things

I love the research. So I try really hard to find spots that are new. So I like possible cache sites on old personal properties but also like to find the old schools etc...
Will you split the costs of a day digging or detecting (Example: Gas, hotel, etc.)?
I am not only willing to split but will cover 100% if the right person comes along.
What type of bottle digging tools do you use?
Probe, metal detetor, shovel, etc...
What type of metal detecting equipment do you use?
Minelab GPX 5000 for gold and Minelab CTX 3030 for relics

No

No but would like to start

tobacco is fine but I rather not drink while working

No just because I have three young kids and a wife but don't mind putting someone up in a nice hotel if we become a good team and they bring something to the table

I treasure hunt full time. I have a Youtube channel I post videos on that has over 1K subs. For that, I mostly do true treasure hunts like Forrest Fenn treasure etc... but plan on adding the bottle digging, metal detecting, and arrowhead hunting. I will NOT make videos of outings with others I meet unless they want to be involved. It is not a priority and is not what I am looking for but did want to mention it. I am doing this to meet more people to do more bottle digging and detecting and learn from more experienced people. I have the time, money, desire, and love the research so I hope to find a few good people to hunt with.

Coins are cool, but I love relics a lot. Wish I lived somewhere where I could dig more CW relics

I travel all over the country for work so I would love to be able to meet some new people! For the next month (June to mid july 2018) I'll be transporting windmill blades from Iowa to Montana.
