I'm new to the hobby and have been digging in the Chicago area for about 2 years. I have mostly been digging one turn of the century ash dump between scouting for new locations. My goal this season is to find and dig a privy in search of even older glass. I've created a number of digital maps overlaying Sanborn maps onto modern ones that could provide some good leads on new permissions. More than happy to share my spots and research with someone more experienced.

Since starting late last year, I've been mostly metal detecting in city parks, beaches and private homes (small gardens and such). I've found amazing things so far and this has gotten me addicted to hunting. I'm still getting the hang of getting permissions and hopefully these pan out.
